Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh: A video of a group of people seen attacking Police Station Incharge Rajiv Kumar Singh is now viral. The incident happened on 5th of June. There was a fight between two groups over playing DJ at a wedding function in the area, on receiving information, the police force reached the spot, After an argument, One group pelted stones and bricks at the police vehicle and attacked Police personnel. Along with SHO Rajiv Kumar Singh, 4 other police constables were injured.

Bricks and stones were pelted on the police team and vehicles, SHO Rajiv Kumar Singh was chased and beaten with sticks/rods, He was later admited to hospital and kept in ICU. Currently out of danger.

The police registered a case against 25 named and 33 unidentified persons and arrested 17 people.
