Here’s a very interesting lesson on armspeed. This player struggled with casting and early release. I worked on speeding her arms up on the way down and moving lead shoulder faster off the chin. Amazing change to the lag and sync in a few swings 🔥🔥🔥👍🏼

One of the best “classic” swing styles you’ll ever see. Geometry, sync and efficiency are pretty perfect. Many of my ideals in it. None of this contrived, complicated match-up stuff that many are throwing into the game. Club works up simply (not too much arm depth), lead wrist slightly flexed, trail side and arm plane shallow in transition, body opens and sidebends at impact. All in a second with very little thought. Stunning and a joy to watch and study. So much great footage coming to my Youtube on this.

It requires precise and intricate match-ups. I’m see most people who try it, get the club behind them to early or “react” to the face not “match up”. Many internet-gurus would have you believe that all you need to do is flex your wrist, shift and spin and you’ll be amazing. For the majority that’s totally not the case. Swing your own swing and don’t follow fashion. Golf historically has trends (drive your knees-Nicklaus’s, Stack n tilt etc). All have merit but they are not the only way to do it and often don’t work for the majority. Swing your own swing and don’t follow the sheep. 🐑
