Here's an interesting one from MSP Daniel Johnson posted by Scottish Labour on Mar 13, 2024 in the run up to the election. Apparently to save Grangemouth it only needed a "small investment" and Labour was the party to save it. What happened?

Whether your requirements are for false vows or lies the Labour branch office are certainly your man, or woman. The terminal liars must get nowhere near the reigns of power in Scotland again.

When they promoted Labour as "Change" they were either lying or deluded but in any case when they found out that they were just provincial lobby fodder in Westminster they embraced it wholeheartedly.

It was more beneficial to Westminster that Scotland lose its oil refining capacity, so that a dependency narrative can be used in future debates on independence
