Ok, now make it illegal to have a paper list. Next question

99% of guns don’t have any record anyway. It doesn’t matter as far as I can tell!

sprinkle a little fear into the idea as well, as you said -- a republican will cite "yOu CaNt TaKe My GuNs" as the reason for not updating things for the betterment

Having an electronic database would make it easier for foreign entities or really anybody to access the database

Because if its on paper, and you want to STEAL it, and sell or use the information you would have to break into the ATF to get it. Computers meanwhile are hacked ALL THE TIME. You are just asking for otherwise lawful citizens to get targeted because of the guns they own.

💜💜

What’s the challenge? Don’t most “conservatives” want to abolish the ATF? Wouldn’t their response be “I hope they get a paper cut”?

This was a great conversation 💜💜🐳🫶🫶

Stop interrupting

That’s fair actually, I think there’s lots of other examples of privacy laws creating annoying and inefficient data management and I’d be in favor of changing them so police could hunt criminals more effectively or doctors could share patient records more freely for coordination.

"Unalived." Jesus.

Filthy fucking jackboot.

Anything to stop Obama using FEMA to take your guns away, even if it means resorting to 19th century record keeping. 🤣

There are hundreds and hundreds of digitized files. Once again, you don’t know what you’re talking about. 🙄

Steven, we do not even like an electronic database of car registrations. We hate the federal government. The federal government hates us. Get with the program.

Has it ever occurred to you that you could've actually become as successful as you desperately want to be if you didn't cultivate a community of the creepiet most disgusting weirdos to ever use the internet?

Dude. They would just ask their AI. It would look at your credit card receipts and say who has what. Facial recognition from ranges, calendar events. They know

it's just bureaucracy. while it is very illegal due to FOPA, no one will ever be quick to undo that and digitize that list, despite how much it would streamline investigations

im not seeing the clause or validation logic of them coming to take your guns off names off a electronic device rathan than paper im geniuly confused not rhetorical at all
