This is cool. Too many Sonic fangames fall into the trap of making the environments really big to compensate for Sonic's speed, but it looks like you sidestepped that problem very well.

Good addition? Tunnels: Fox, hare and badger tunnels. Use Sonic to spin jump, and spin dive break through, weaker areas with cracks* visible. Inside the secret twisting underground tunnels, NPCs with tips, secret rooms +gems. This add would be much like debut Sonic video games.👍

Much as I like to have fun on this channel, I do want to address a serious topic. June is Men's Mental Health Month. Men are expected to be strong and bear heavy burdens, but even the strongest person needs reassurance sometimes. Sonic in SatAM is a chill guy who loves to goof around. But the reality is that he's surviving a nightmare. His world has been taken over by a tyrant, his family is gone, and his beloved Uncle Chuck was turned into a robot against his will. As much as Sonic tries to stay strong and maintain a positive outlook, there is only so much one person can bear. Seeing Sonic cry over his uncle humanizes him. It reminds us that there are layers to his character in SatAM that go far beyond his cool attitude and catchphrases. Thankfully, Sonic had friends to help him through it. No one judged him for his sadness, because even strong men need to cry. As much as Sonic saves the world, sometimes he needs to be saved too. Sally may often get annoyed by Sonic's antics, but she loves him enough to provide vital emotional support when he breaks down. We all need people like that in our lives. There is a reason Sonic and Sally’s bond is so strong. They have proven they can depend on each other in their darkest moments. Sonic might be the one fighting SWAT-Bots, but Sally is the one making sure he is mentally able to keep going. Like most men, Sonic doesn't want to admit when he can't carry the weight anymore. Men are often conditioned to just keep moving forward, which makes having a supportive, nurturing circle so vital. A woman's gentle touch means the world to men like that. The point is, if you know a man who is stressed out or going through a lot, reach out to him. As a man myself, I can confirm we're not always willing to admit when something is bothering us. But if you give it time, and if we trust you, we'll open up. And if you're the one struggling, you don't have to broadcast it to the world. If you need to do it in private, that's completely fine. Reach out to someone in real life, in DMs, or a private Discord server. Talk to someone you are close with. It doesn't make you any less of a man to do so. After all, confronting your problems is the true essence of masculinity. Here's to Men's Mental Health Awareness. To all you guys out there: take care of yourselves. ~MR
