Flagged this over the radio with about three to go: "Andy, you got your watch on?" "Nice and easy here, bud. Nice and easy." "We can save our tires here for a late race restart." Custer had been shadowing Logano through traffic before both were finally clear coming to four laps to go. Custer took one look to Logano's inside in Turn 7 with four to go but never seriously challenged Logano for position again.

I’m honestly not sure what to make of this yet. My assumption is there are probably differing perspectives between Drake, Cole, and their teams about where things stand, and until either of them speaks directly, anything beyond that is speculation. I never felt Cole’s recent records were aimed at Drake personally, but I could be wrong. Drake showed love to Port Antonio, Cole and his camp showed love to $$$4U, Bas publicly defended Drake, and all of that happened after the beef. Even Ak clarified the leaked “Double Agents” clip wasn’t Drake dissing Cole. At the same time, optics matter. Drake likely wouldn’t be fully comfortable with Cole moving between TDE spaces and his circle, but Cole’s history with TDE goes back many years. Feels like a complicated situation and I don’t think anyone has the full story. 🤷🏻‍♂️
