I think he's saying that he doesn't want a player on a downward curve. His point about Reggie is saying that while Reggie was old, his best play was still ahead. So case by case basis evaluation. Am I misunderstanding?

I dont see this as a valuable mindset given where the team is. 2 years as the youngest team in football. Its fun, but the young mistakes add up. You paid JL, so now every year is 1 chance at a SB. If an aging vet gives you elite play for 2 years at a position of need, take it

He’s a Ram imo

Reggie White was a Unicorn, and IMO the best defensive player to ever walk the earth. Most guys are in the back half by their 30th. Gone too soon also, RIP Reggie.
