During DLSS 5 Hands-On Video, YouTube creator Hot Hardware asked Nvidia employees this question about the computational cost of DLSS 5 when you move around in the game and it really caught my eye on how they hesitated on showing any DLSS 5 footage during motion. Every time that he moved the character, he would turn off DLSS 5 first then move to a different in-game location and then turn it on, or if DLSS 5 was turned on the movement was very slow and controlled. I know this is still work in progress, but it really begs the question "why wouldn't they show any this?" or "why show DLSS 5 this early?" I tried freezing some shots when another character is in motion to check if there are any artifacts when DLSS 5 is turned on. As suspected, I did come across some artifacts with UI elements, character popping out of the UI element and ghosting/artifacts behind the character. Its still not the best way to judge these small details that you can clearly see if a footage is recorded in-game, but then again its not like Nvidia provided any of them during DLSS 5 marketing campaign. Whenever this is still going to be present by the time DLSS 5 launches remains to be seen, however as of right now it doesn't look like it will handle fast-paced motion quite well and I don't know how well this "controlled AI-generated" rendering will scale to weaker GPUs in the RTX 50 series

ZELENSKYY: Yesterday, Americans presented me few ideas on how to end the war. We briefly discussed these ideas, and will soon discuss them in detail. Then Americans will talk with Russians. If we then see that we can seriously discuss this plan, trilateral meeting will be held. Of course, all of this needs to be done by the fall. If it were up to us, the meeting would already be taking place in July. But not everything depends on us. Americans want to meet, but we must not forget that they are currently focused on Iran. It all started with fake frames, now its evolving onto fake graphics? Imagine if FSR, XeSS and PSSR started embracing this kind of upscaling. In the same game, you will have different looking outputs for every different upscaler because these AI models wont be trained on the same data. Grace in this case here, will look different on an Nvidia GPU using DLSS 5, she will look different using FSR, PSSR or XeSS. You get the point I don't why but I always felt that DLSS was always supposed to provide only one thing, give gamers a better framerate while retaining the same image quality as native resolution. I don't want a randomized output for a character's face that I won't recognize if I turn on DLSS 5 even if my framerate triples. Nvidia and all the game studios embracing this AI slop should take a step back in my opinion because this is not it, even if it is years away.

This key bucket by Melo has a lot going on. First, you can take as much time as u like executing the legal 2 steps (as long as you're not in the lane for >3 secs). You can also drag the back foot, not considered a step. His left foot can also pivot on floor while balancing. I don't even think it moved, just pivoted. Maybe half an inch. Not enough for a ref to be *certain* so they cannot call that, even though I don't really know if it moved anyway.

Come along as I share my trip diary with you. All of this already happened, but I would like you to see it all. It was day four or five of this trip, I just slipped on the wet Paris streets with the Moulin Rouge behind me, I'm running on three to five hours of sleep, and dinner here doesn't start until somewhere between 11pm and 1 in the morning. I was running on pure adrenaline. Thank God I love what I do. That day, I sat down with politicians in France. They wanted to know how big this issue really is, how Robert Kennedy Jr. got as far as he did, and what it would take to have this conversation in their country the way we had it in ours. I've been asked some version of that same question in every country I've visited. The world is watching what happened in America and trying to understand it.

This is honestly one of my favorite explanations of how magic works and why it's not openly available in the universe. The metaphor of the wall as a psychological barrier we humans as creatures of logic put up on ourselves as we even with it before us can not accept it as real. Sorcerers are the rare few who are not slaves bound to the laws of logic and science. Heck, it took Stephen hell to even just be a beginner, and it all felt earned... truly beautiful in a way.

Borderlands 4 Performance Summary in 2 minutes: 0:00 - Native Res Badass Settings the game runs bad 0:30 - Upscaling Performance Mode Badass Settings, the game barely manages to hit 60FPS 1:20 - Frame Gen turned on and now you have 100 FPS Some people will turn all these settings on and be happy with it but in my honest opinion these are used as crutches to make the game look as if it performs good. Borderlands 4 has a certain art style that doesn't look like it needs these kind of settings to be turned on to play at a high framerate but sadly it does and you can defend this if you want but the future of gaming looks bleak, using this tech to not optimize the games further will just result in input latency increase as every game will be delivered with frame-gen turned on in the devs mind.
