here's fred astaire dancing. suit is likely made by anderson & sheppard, which is one of the softer tailoring houses in London. shoulder is padded, but relatively natural looking. as he moves, the sleevehead doesn't totally collapse into the jacket.

i think trump's suits achieve what he wants to achieve, but you can see here one of the downsides of having a heavily padded shoulder. looks fine if you're standing still, like a robot. but when you move, the artifice reveals itself. a trade off.

Sorry Derek guy, every time I went to look at the suit I got distracted by the ROLLER SKATE TAP DANCING 😍

Your next warm, workhorse shirt is here. The Japanese Low Twist is a rugged, heavyweight fabric worn alone or as a chore coat. Shop now.

I'd love to see Trump dancing on rollerskates.

The prerequisite for wearing such a suit is that the person in question actually has shoulders, I guess🤷🏻

I could have easily watched 100 mins of Fred and Ginger dancing in roller-skates last night instead of ol' anvil shoulders.

But bro is fit n trump is a slug. Fred could hold his spine straight dancing in a sack

And Astaire’s suit looks good with the button fastened, as he skates.

Does he still use Brioni because this is not a good ad for their tailoring skills.

Thank you! Fred and Ginger are always a joy to watch.

good amount of horsehair, wool felting and lots of pick stitching! Trumps has the shoulder pads, but not enough horsehair and stitch work to prevent the shoulder pad from being obvious when active.

This is one of the things you don't notice unless you 'know', but which add to the look of elegance and style!
