When Senegal national football team walked off the pitch, many believed their actions were justified given the circumstances. However, from a professional standpoint, if the decision had already been influenced in favor of Morocco national football team, it would have been more appropriate to award Morocco the win outright, as that appeared to be the intended outcome. Allowing Senegal to resume play and ultimately secure victory, only for that result to be overturned afterward, raises serious concerns about fairness and consistency. Such a reversal undermines the integrity of the game and gives the impression of a decision that lacks transparency, one that many would reasonably describe as unjust.

Those in charge of CAF are embarrassing the continent. The game went ahead and Morocco missed the penalty. I think at this point, every other nation in Africa should leave the afcon for CAF and Morocco.

It’s frustrating, disappointing, and a stark reminder of the work we need to do to uphold fairness and integrity in African sports.
