My go-to right now is Claude 3 Haiku. You can pair it with Cursor’s long context mode for an unreal experience.

how often do you switch models? is it just when a new better ones come out, or are you switching multiple times per day (if youre coding) based on use-case.. bc i see myself just mostly using gpt-4 for now (will try out claude) and in some rare cases, where i need some quick work, i might switch to cursor-fast or smthng else..
