@jacktame Well if there is environmental damage any Minister making the decision needs to be held directly responsible the way company directors are responsible for any wrong doing. Going off this interview it doesn't look like Bishop has been held accountable for anything in his life.

@jacktame Bishop appeared to think if he fast talked his answers that would be enough to put Tame off. The damage that can be done by late 2026 is enormous. This government knows they’ll probably be chucked out and their donors need their shopping list fulfilled by then.

For years, Conservatives have championed a regime to get national projects built. The Liberals borrowed this concept with Bill C-5. However, the Liberals have written themselves a blank cheque to override any law to push through their hand-picked projects. Conservatives will be bringing forward amendments to hold this government accountable -- because they have not proven that they deserve the trust of Canadians.

Additionally, on the Hungary-Israel relationship, Magyar said that EU decisions on Israel will continue to be blocked, but will be investigated on a case-by-case basis.

I am extremely happy that the Hon'ble High Court has delivered justice in the 1158 professor recruitment case today. As the Education Minister, during my 3-month tenure, 1158 professors were recruited to fill vacant positions in government colleges that had remained empty for over three decades. However, the recruitment process was halted when the new government took over. After a long struggle, these professors have won their case in the High Court. Congratulations to the people of Punjab and best wishes to the 1158 professors. We also remember Professor Balwinder Kaur, who tragically lost her life while awaiting this decision. This recruitment will significantly boost higher education in Punjab and safeguard our government colleges. I urge the Bhagwant Mann government to issue the notification soon and expedite the joining process.
