And I actually think that it is one reason that he must be removed from office, because if the Epstein files have such a hold on President Trump and this administration that they are willing to plunge us and risk world war in order to save themselves politically, that is the definition of someone who cannot make objective decisions for the American people.

He acts as if Tarantino is more knowledgeable on how to use the N word than he is and asks him how Tarantino knows how to "do this black shit". Based on the optics from today at the DOJ, Trump and his team made a conscious effort to make it clear he trusts AG Pam Bondi. He knows what people have been saying online. He knows many are critical of Bondi. Today, he made an effort to show he supports her. I know everyone has an opinion about how to run the government and how to drain the swamp, but ultimately, Trump is the one who gets to make those decisions. He has a plan, and the American People chose him to carry out said plan. If Bondi is compromised or not accomplishing what Trump wants, Trump will know about it LONG before we do, and it will be up to him to correct it. But for the time being, Trump just made a pretty clear statement today that the DOJ under his new administration will be different, and that he has faith in his appointees such as Bondi and Kash. If you disagree with Trump’s appointees or his plan, then in four years, you can vote for someone else, but until then, you’ve got no choice but to trust Trump, and he trusts Bondi.

His lawyers argued for a lenient sentence, citing that “he has punished himself more than anyone would be able to punish him.” Combs claims he is a changed man, and that he will “never commit a crime again.” I personally believe he should have gotten the max 11 years, what do you think, is 50 months appropriate or should it be less or more?

Even if he did demand a trial by combat or would not have mattered as Joffrey would have named Jaime or Sandor Clegane as his champion. Ned could not have defeated either of them at his peak and now he has been stabbed in his leg and starved in a dungeon. He also has no Champion he could call upon because his retinue in the capitol have all been killed and the rest is fighting a war with Robb. Also Cersei holds Sansa as a hostage, one of the primary reasons why he decided to confess was so that Sansa would not be harmed. Even if he would have won he would not have been free from the dungeons, only the accusations of being a traitor. He would still have been held a hostage as long as Robb was marching with his army. Any deal to free him would not have happened until Robb captures Jaime or any equally important hostage but even so with Tywin in command that is unlikely to happen. Lastly you can't blame Ned for feeling cynical over trials by combat. The last Stark to demand a trial by combat in Kings Landing was his father, Rickard Stark. And he was burned alive by the mad king.
