@linear Cool as hell. But he did open source his approach to encourage adoption of the best practice he believes in. Would you consider open sourcing any components of your sync engine, so that other apps can follow in your footsteps?

@linear There are many local first frameworks out there, open source and closed source. Our engine is fine tuned for Linear and wouldn’t be a great generic sync engine for other use cases, so you’re really better off using existing generic sync engines.

@linear Still dont worth the 8-10 sec cold start delay 🤷‍♂️ Love a lot og things about linear but it is the only app i have ever experienced real load times in for years 😨

@linear Pretty incredible most people in that thread don’t seem to understand the difference between a local first app and a regular SPA (which ofcourse has the same speed issues as livewire etc).
