Everyone knows my loyalty and commitment to St John’s Basketball and my alma mater. 💪 ❤️ Coach Gus and UCF football thank you for making me part of your family since I 1st addressed the team in May and this weekend in the locker room!!!!! Saturday wasn’t the result we wanted but this is my team and I am honored to be part of the UCF family!!!!! Getting to know these young men and being part of their journey has made me so proud of this team and the coaches!!!!! I am loyal and committed to helping UCF get into the college football playoffs this year and future years!!!!! Special moment for me last night wrapping up the regular season. I had my first linebacker coach come to the last game of the season. This game being special because it was the first place I took a snap as a linebacker in 2020 (yes, I’ve only been playing this position for a legit 4 years ). Anyways, it was this man that told me at one of my lowest points I would get drafted and play in this league. And all he asked for was a signed jersey. All-way love, coach. There will be more growth as you taught me never to settle !!!! Brian Ward

The coolest thing for me as a kid wasn’t only finding out my uncle was a professional football player for 11 years but seeing the “Karate Kid” wearing his jersey in the movie. Wes Chandler the great wide receiver to EVER play at the university of Florida! Also a college and nfl receiver coach for years. Taught me to be a man,husband, father, player, coach, protector and provider. If you want to know who Dallas Baker is this is a great example. If you were wondering why Khamzat Chimaev had such a bad weight cut look no further. 😭 They were literally training down the street from one of the best strength and conditioning coaches in MMA my guy Chase, who also trains all the Kings MMA pro fighters. Coach Cal was a math teacher for 35 years and did run a decent wrestling camp in Montana for years as well as do triathlons but that David Goggins type training method did not help Khamzat at all in his fight with Strickland the same way it didn’t help Tony Ferguson or Izzy.

Today was one of the hardest days in my Franklin County high school basketball career. Since I was in 6th grade, I could not wait to play for the lady flyers. It felt so good to see coach Thacker support us at our middle school games. My first year playing was my 7th grade year. Since then, Joey Thacker has coached, trained, motivated, encouraged, and pushed me to be what he knows I could be. He held me accountable while also congratulating me on jobs well done. I watched him sacrifice day after day to be in the gym with us. He stayed strong while his family was handling health concerns. No matter what, he has always been there for us. For me, he has been one of the best coaches I have ever had. I have so much I could say, I’m just having a hard time getting my thoughts out. I love you coach Thacker. Thank you for being a coach that realty cared about his players and not about the wins and losses. Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you for building a program that set the standard in the 11th region. After 22 years, 1 2A state championship, 2 sweet 16 state runner ups, 5 elite 8 finishes, 7 11th region championships, 94 straight 41st district wins with 12 straight district titles, and countless tournament championships, my coach will be retiring. It hurts to not be able to finish up my high school career with him as my coach, but I am so happy for him and his family. I am happy to say I played for Coach Thacker since my 7th grade year and would not trade any minute of it. I would have love to have just 1 more year with you. 💔As always, I will continue to text you even if you are not my coach anymore lol. Sorry I didn’t get you the KHSAA state championship😞. I started playing at this rec center down the street from my house. He took a liking to me because of my size and how quick I was to get up the court at my size. So he just started working with me from like 8 to 12 he was my coach” “The neighborhood got into some stuff one night. It escalated, and he got murdered at a barber shop probably when I was a junior in high school, just about to make my decision to go to college and make that next step. It was devastating. It was shocking for that to happen” “Periodically I think about it. I wish he could see all the stuff that I've done so far, but I always live with that number on me. That's why I wear that number, because he died at that age. So I try to keep something around that symbolizes what he meant to me” “It was a tough time, not just for me, because he coached a lot of my friends that went on to play outside of high school, and they wear the number too. It's kind of a connection that we all have coming from that rec center that he coached at. I just try to carry his name as much as I could. That's why I wear that number”

📣🚨 NEW FSU MEMBER TESTIMONIAL Steve Horner is a Reform UK councillor on Teignbridge District Council in Devon. He stood as a parliamentary candidate in the 2024 general election. In his testimonial, Steve speaks about the abuse he has faced in recent years due to his support for Reform UK. Concerned about how public bodies might respond — and what that could mean for his ability to exercise his right to free speech — he joined the Free Speech Union. He initially joined for our content, but soon found himself in need of our support. As a district councillor, Steve raised concerns on Facebook about the covert placement of Afghan migrants in his area, citing the costs to local residents and the fact that the public had not voted for this. He received his first formal complaint for challenging Devon County Council and standing up for the residents he represents. Following his post, a complaint alleged that he had breached the council’s code of conduct. With the support of the Free Speech Union, Steve submitted a response, and the monitoring officer ultimately dismissed the complaint. A number of similar complaints were also subsequently dismissed. Later a new more serious, seemingly professionally framed complaint was sent to the Council after Steve raised concerns about potential discrimination by the Arts Council. With our support once again, the complaint against him was dropped. But it didn’t end there. Steve was later targeted by a political opponent in the district council who in a publication inferred he was a racist. This was immediately challenged within the confines of the Council, and petered out. However, he now has the FSU on speed dial. We are pleased to have been able to support Steve. At the Free Speech Union, we are increasingly seeing codes of conduct being weaponised to silence those who do not subscribe to prevailing orthodoxies. Friends, fans, and the press have asked me who I'm supporting in this most important of elections. And with full knowledge that my opinions are no more or less important than those of any of my fellow citizens, here's my answer: I'm supporting Kamala Harris for President and Tim Waltz for Vice President and opposing Donald Trump and JD Vance. Here's why. We are shortly coming upon one of the most consequential elections in our nation's history. Perhaps not since the Civil War has this great country felt as politically, spiritually, and emotionally divided as it does then at this moment. It doesn't have to be this way. The common values, the shared stories that make us a great and united nation are waiting to be rediscovered and retold once again. Now that will take time, hard work, intelligence, faith and women and men with the national good, guiding their hearts. America's the most powerful nation on earth. Not just because of her overwhelming military strength or economic power, but because of what she stands for, what she means, what she believes in: freedom, social justice, equal opportunity, the right to be and love who you want. His disdain for the sanctity of our constitution, the sanctity of democracy, the sanctity of the rule of law, and the sanctity of the peaceful transfer of power should disqualify him from the office of President ever again. He doesn't understand the meaning of this country, its history or what it means to be deeply American. On the other hand, Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone regardless of class, religion, race, your political point of view or sexual identity, and they want to grow our economy in a way that benefits all, not just the few like me on top. That's the vision of America I’ve been consistently writing about for 55 years now.
