The battles in Sweida, which everyone had heard about, took place. Some people came to us and told us that the Bedouin tribal sheikhs and the Druze sheikhs had agreed that we would remain brothers and that no problems would arise. Then they returned to us in the evening and told us not to leave our homes and that no one would harm us. I stayed in my home because I was going to work the next day. My husband and child stayed with me. My husband is sick and needs a joint replacement, so we did not leave. But our neighbors left their homes and fled the area. The next day, the Druze militia returned to our area and installed heavy weapons on a nearby hill, despite their promise not to harm us. They then targeted families and civilians in the neighborhood with mortar shells. We were directly targeted for two hours despite our attempts to flee the area. Then the Hajri militia searched every house individually, armed with handguns and rifles. They asked us if we had money, phones, weapons, or identification. We told them we were civilians, didn't have any weapons, and didn't know how to use them. My husband, a civilian, didn't know how to use them. I told them there was only a sick man and my child, and we were all trying to take shelter in our house. They told me I was now a prisoner. They also captured my husband and covered his face with the shirt he was wearing. I told them we were neighbors from Amad, and yesterday you had promised us safety and that we wouldn't be targeted. Why are you doing this to us now? They told me no. Then they did the same thing to the rest of the houses in the area. After that, someone came to us and, by chance, he knew my husband before. He hid us in one of the houses, gave us water to drink, and allowed my child to use the bathroom. He was kind and respectful, while the rest were just a criminal gang. Then they gathered everyone they had captured in the mosque. When I entered the mosque, I found many dead people. I found one of the children beheaded, and his mother was my neighbor. Did you see what happened? I saw them because the militia brought all the bodies to the mosque for burial. I saw one of our neighbors, who had difficulty moving due to rheumatism, and they shot him in the feet. Then they took him away, claiming they were going to treat him. Instead, they killed him in front of the mosque. This is what I saw with my own eyes. After that, because I was a nurse, they brought the injured to the mosque for treatment, even though they claimed they were taking them to the hospital. One of the family members was a doctor. I saw five of their injuries with my own eyes, all of them children. Then they made successive promises that they would release us that same day. The guards who escorted us were respectful. As for food, they offered us a cup of bulgur for every five people. I'm now trying to remember the details of what happened. There wasn't enough water, and we were over 1,000 prisoners. Why were they holding you? They told us we were prisoners, promising us they would release us. We held our belongings by the door, waiting for our release. Were they viewing you as civilian prisoners? We are prisoners of Of course. They held us captive so they could force us out of our homes and out of Sweida Governorate. Courageous American patriots would not abide by the Democrat narrative, "Move along. Nothing to see here." I thought my FOURTH CHRISTMAS in the Washington DC Gulag, held hostage as a January 6 Political Prisoner would be unbearable... But my heart is swollen & overflowing with immeasurable GRATITUDE!!! I'm grateful that our King left His throne in heaven, to take the form of a defenseless child, revealing Himself to His people in Gods true nature of love, humility, vulnerability, connection and purity. A God for 3 kings and 3 shepherds. Rich and poor. Republican and Democrat. I'm grateful that God has graced me with my beautiful wife-to-be Rachel, who has fought relentlessly along side me for years without resting a single moment. Loyalty is so rare these days. I'm grateful for the community of God fearing patriots that have been wrapped up in January 6 - the sheer tenacity of the J6 Hostages family members to hold on for FOUR straight years without giving up hope is the truest testament to the indomitable American spirit! I'm grateful for my family who is anticipating my arrival home in 25 days, my mom is currently in flight from West Palm to visit me at DC Jail on Christmas!! The homeowner paid to have a new roof installed, the roofing company gave them a good deal on the price and got to work. When they finished ahead of schedule, the homeowner claimed they didnโ€™t have the money for the roof so the roofers came back and put holes in the brand new roof, was this justified or is it vandalism? I would do the same since they didnโ€™t pay a dime for materials. I used to help out with my friendโ€™s landscaping business in the summer during college break. We arrived at some fancy house on a few acres. They mapped out what they wanted done and we did it. They even said we did a good job but still refused to pay because they claimed they didnโ€™t like the shade of rocks we used even though they are the ones who picked them out. We even picked up the rocks for them at the business they wanted the rocks from. It took us about three days to do the work not to mention my friend paid for the materials up front expecting to be paid back when the customer paid us for the job so we went back and undid everything, my friend even cut down some of their bushes out of anger which was wrong on his part but can you blame him? I am willing to bet most people would do the same. They called the cops on us but the police said it was a civil matter but did tell us to leave and we did.
