It has now been 8 years since I first started working for Riot Games. Today, I am grateful for the trust that was placed in my work, and for all the support you have given me over the years. 🫂 Thank you everyone, from the bottom of my heart! 💕 Here is a retrospective video reel showing off some of my VFX over the years. It was pretty difficult to compress this amount of work in such a short duration, but I did my best! 😄 Here is to the next 8 years, and hopefully many more! 🥂✨

This is at Washington International Airport. I’ve flown thousands of times and I’ve NEVER experienced anything like this. It looks like air conditioning or some kind of mist coming through the cabin, but it has a sweet smell—and even a sweet taste. Yes, a taste. Since when does air conditioning have a sweet smell and taste? Today is Sunday. Our flight is delayed because of “weather.” We’re sitting inside the plane waiting for the pilot to get clearance to take off. We’ve already been sitting on the ground for more than 30 minutes, and the pilot says he’ll update us around 7:00 PM. Meanwhile, this sweet-smelling/tasting mist is blasting through the cabin at full force. There’s so much of it that it almost feels like it’s raining on us. I’ve been on countless planes, all over the world, and I have never seen, smelled, or tasted anything like this. What the hell is going on?

🔐 Despite being on a chain for years there is no need for a lead with Buster. He’s figured out he doesn’t need to run from here. 🌸 Rather than being aggressive as I was told he was this big boy is more interested in smelling the flowers. 🤒 He has a lot of medical bits to do like ear cleaning and special baths. He hasn’t complained once. Totally trusting. ❤️ His 2 favorite things in life are the things he never had. Human affection and walks. A long way to go with Buster’s health (tail, fungal infection and chest issues) but I think it’s fair to say that’s a smile on the big lad’s face. You love to see it 🙏

Nothing to see here in California… Just our Governor directing over $300 million to nonprofits, some of which contract with his wife’s production company that has paid her over a million dollars in salaries. This kind of activity is illegal in a lot of other states, but it is legally allowed here in California. It is a form of legal money laundering, and that should be changed. We also have a new bill called the “Nonprofit industrial complex” or the Office of Nonprofit Empowerment. This bill would establish a state run office that directs even more funds to nonprofits like CHIRLA and 1000s of others. We have created a nonprofit industrial complex here in the state of California, and it must be stopped. It is a legal way to wash your taxpayer dollars to do the bidding of those who are in charge. You should check right now if the nonprofit you like to donate to has administrative costs over 40 percent. If they do, you probably have a problem. These nonprofits are running legislation like the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” and then exempting themselves when investigative journalists come around. I may be crazy, but it sounds like California is. Share, repost, like and vote to save California.

I’ve seen several posts abt JM singing Magic Shop, with many ppl saying that his vocal technique has improved. I appreciate the compliments and the recognition he’s receiving, but I’d also like to share some context, especially for newer fans who may not be very familiar with JM’s vocals. Jimin vocally, has always sounded amazing since the beginning. There was already no denying his musical ability hitting those ever so ethereal phenomenally amazing high notes already in debut yrs. He has always been an exceptional singer, particularly when it comes to high notes. In fact, he was even more than capable of delivering them yrs ago. Throughout BTS’s career, JM has consistently taken on many of the group’s high notes and has performed them remarkably well. One song he has always excelled at is Magic Shop. He has sung his part with such ease countless times, often performing it even better than the studio version just like in this video👇 That’s why I don’t think “improved” is necessarily the best word to use here. A more accurate description would be that Jimin has been consistently great all along!🔥💯💯 JM, mainly learned different techniques vocally, basically to not put any strain in his vocal chords, also making sure preserving his singing abilities, for endurance & stamina, so as to be able to sing for many decades to come. As opposed to many Kpop vocalist, basically trained to hit high notes that in long run can ruin vocal abilities later on, not bothering to show the specific kind of techniques that JM has been making a point of doing. Jimin, while learning, even mentioned he wasn’t even sure he could hit some of those high notes anymore, now being aware of the need to protect his vocal abilities for the yrs to come. In other words, JM already sounding absplutely outstanding since the beginning. The difference is now he’s using different vocal techniques to achieve those sound more safely, including all the high notes he was wondering beforehand if he could still do using different, safer techniques.👌👍👍 So many many ppl, didn’t understand what JM meant! I mean it’s so obvious to anyone who has ears & can hear that JM sounded absolutely incredible since beginning. It’s so infuriating to act like JM hadn’t had those kind of vocals already😑 Like Let Me Know! Sheer perfection! But now JM is ever so smartly using different techniques so not to take the chance of straining while achieving. Though, for JM his ability to hit those stratospheric high notes is without effort, but to do so while dancing & running around, plus over time, just love how Jimin is thinking long term. 👍🙏😅😍 Way more Kpop vocalist should learn from JM! I heard so often yrs ago how so many idols were trained to push their vocals to hit way higher notes at all costs, which many had to pay for dearly yrs later! I’ve always wondered how good or rather safe it is for OTHER to sing so often with neck muscles straining, face even turning red, neck veins look like they're abt to pop while achieving high notes! Even all other members declared Jimin having ability to hit the highest notes, even using his head voice. 🤷🔥🔥

Week 12. Day 1. Bloody hell. Three months in. Feels like we’ve been here for a lifetime; yet also it’s passed in a flash. It’s a quick brain dump for now. I want reflect more on psychiatry and the enormous role it’s played in our tragedy; but will do that later. A first class piece was written over the weekend by the The Telegraph which deals with the impact of serious mental health ‘criminals’ and how the system does (or doesn’t) manage it or them, which I’ll also share. 🚨 Cockroaches of India 🚨 A beautiful park gets developed by the government… Trees planted, flowers maintained, public spaces cleaned… And then some people destroy it with their own hands. In Shivalik Park, people were allegedly uprooting plants, damaging pots and treating public property like it has no value. When one person raised his voice against it, suddenly all the jokers started defending the destruction: “Everyone does it… what crime did we commit?” So if a few cockroaches jump into a drain, will everyone follow them into the same drain too? This is the real problem lack of civic sense and accountability. Later the same Gen-Z reel makers will record videos saying: “Government took so much money but there are no plants or greenery here.” But they will never admit that many people themselves uproot those plants, steal flowers, damage public property or take them home as “gifts.” Until mentality changes, no government alone can fully develop India. Development is not only about roads and parks… it is also about public behavior, discipline and responsibility.

The release of the P900 camera with infinite zoom is why there are so many flat earthers now btw. I’ve done it myself. There is no curve. Snipers don’t factor in the spin neither do pilots. Light houses wouldn’t work at 8 in/mi2. And nasa has lied about all of it. There is zero evidence we are on a ball. Zero evidence of spin. I don’t know what the earth is but someone has some explaining to do. And no everyone isn’t in on it. Without this tech it does look like boats are going over a curve. They aren’t. We aren’t just dumb crazy people. We actually know the heliocentric model more than 99% of the people calling us dumb. It is what it is. And social shame doesn’t work on me.

Hot take, but I’ve always felt Vice City is easily the worst GTA. I’ve never fully understood the hype around it. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is amazing, the 80s vibe is iconic, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. Tommy and Ken are great characters too. But once past that, the game itself doesn’t hold up as well for me. The map feels small and empty, especially compared to San Andreas, and even GTA 3 felt bigger in some ways. Driving around and exploring isn’t that fun, which is a huge part of what makes GTA games enjoyable. The missions are where it really loses me. Many feel repetitive or straight-up frustrating, especially early on. The RC helicopter mission inside the building is a perfect example more annoying than fun. It often feels like the game is just throwing obstacles at you instead of offering natural progression. To me, it’s always felt more like a quick follow-up to GTA 3 than a fully evolved entry, leaning heavily on style over substance. It has its moments, but compared to the other GTA games, it just doesn’t hit the same.

🚨 Are UFOs monitoring us? 🚨 People everywhere are reporting more strange objects in the sky, and this latest video from Mexico has everyone asking questions. Witnesses filming the coastline spotted something bizarre hovering just above the shoreline. At first glance it looks like a bright star, but look closer… 👀 The object appears to be rotating at an incredible speed while remaining perfectly stationary over the water. It’s glowing like an orb, yet shaped almost like a spinning star suspended in midair. What makes this even stranger is that it doesn’t seem to be moving with the wind or following any normal flight pattern. So what is it doing there? And here too, in the chorus parts, V lightly scratches through it a little, slightly roughening his voice, so it gives this kind of ‘ugh,’ almost like a very masculine, embracing kind of part. Originally, V’s voice is naturally a bit husky, right? So he has that husky tone and that learned, strong tone, but here he doesn’t express it too excessively. Instead, it feels like he’s holding it back, almost pressing it down, while at the same time expressing it strongly in an emotional way. So I found V’s vocals really impressive and memorable. 🧑🏻To add on, I also really liked V’s vocals. There was something about the way he seemed to let his breath burst out at the ends of phrases, it gave me a strong sense of emotional appeal and pleading. This man is a South African. He has his papers. His only “crime” is that he is Black and originally came from another African country. This is the textbook definition of xenophobia and Afrophobia. How can you want to kick out a man who is South African, fully documented, and then claim it is not xenophobia or Afrophobia? Make it make sense to this kwerekwere, to this Z ai-zai from Zimbabwe.
