"here's something else that's worth pondering!"

It seems like this links in with the idea that civilized interactions are only possible (between men) when there's the lingering threat of violence. Things don't matter unless men.

So if a woman has no men playing a significant role in her life a violation against her person is meaningless?

My "favorite" thing about Jordan Peterson is how whenever he doesn't like something but knows that's an unpopular opinion, he declares the thing "complicated," then starts using a bunch of five dollar words and spouting largely unrelated garbage to confuse people Nah, it's simple

I don’t require males to agree for something to be a crime against my person.

It's also worth pondering that JP chooses his words "very, very carefully". His quote. He actually means that rape is worse when a man's feelings get hurt.

He is saying that a woman's "virtue" is a social property (eg of their fathers, brothers). He doesn't use the word virtue but he describes the concept extremely accurately. He bangs on about "virginity" as if that's a real thing as well. He's a preacher with a thesaurus.

what if JP is just a chatGPT instance with all the guardrails taken down

Rape is only a crime if if it enrages other men who know the woman? That's what he thinks, that there's nothing fundamentally wrong with rape, that it's a matter of how men interpret it. Can you imagine going to this man for counselling and thinking you'd find wisdom?

Point being that men are not decent enough to care for a woman unless she's their property???

I’m going to need a re-edit of the interview where we just see her face as he was saying this.
