Well done, @60Minutes Yeah, I get that you supposedly reached out to the government and El Salvador, but you interviewed those students, so I'm sure you could have found A LOT of people to argue the other side of this. I'm no journalist, but I know for a fact I wouldn't put any story out there that didn't have SOME people on the opposite side of the issue giving their perspective. CECOT is entirely in El Salvador, run by the Salvadoran government under Bukele, and operates according to El Salvador’s laws & policies. The prison’s harsh conditions are part of Bukele’s anti-gang strategy, which has dramatically reduced violence in the country.

This will easily be the most viewed 60 minutes segment in a long time. I watched it and I have not watched 60 minutes in a decade at least. I am guessing someone is in deep💩 now that we all saw it anyway. After watching Bari Weiss' excuse for not airing it, it's clear she lied.

Bari Weiss' role at CBS News might be to shield "Israel" from criticism of its brutal and barbaric war crimes against Palestinians. But she's also trying pretty hard to protect the Trump Administration from exposure of the brutal and barbaric treatment of immigrants in CECOT in El Salvador. The Administration gave $6,000,000 to the Nayib Bukele regime for take deportees. Immigrants from Venezuela, El Salvador and other countries have been beaten, tortured, fed rotten food and sexually assaulted in the tyrant's prison. El Salvador plays the same role for the US program to deport aliens that General Government/occupied Poland played in Nazi Germany's program to deport Jews. CECOT is El Salvador's Auschwitz.

All of the Ice officers who carried out these orders should be held accountable, just like in the military. Especially those at the top of the chain of command.
