When asked if strikes on Iran over the weekend marked a limited campaign or a return to full-scale war and how the U.S. plans to respond to Iranian strikes in Jordan and the UAE, President Trump told CBS News’ Weijia Jiang that although Iran has been severely weakened, the U.S. could still "smack them" if necessary. U.S. Central Command announced an attack Sunday on what it said were Iranian rocket launchers on Larak Island, in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said the Strait of Hormuz is "in extremely good shape" and that "we've done a great job with Iran."

And on the ground the Israelis are engaged in a genocide. And on the ground in this war the Israelis and the United States have not in any way shape or form achieved a single one of its military strategic objectives."
