@TRUMP_ARMY_ I've docked some shrimp boats like this in the right wind . It's about the only way . Until your transmission link falls off and you hit the seawall doing 20mph. That sucks !

Do that in any harbor or near my boat and I promise you won't be doing it again lol.

If you dock a boat like this i'd highly expect to get knocked the fuck out by everyone else who has a boat on the dock.

Here I am going into neutral from 20ft away just coasting until I’m right up next to dock. That’s actually really impressive

what isn't said is that fishing boat has only a single screw and no thruster; all done by torque and rudder and hull shape produces great tracking at all speeds.

This man knows his boat better than he knows his woman.

This reminds me of the docking contest held annually on the Eastern Shore in Chrisfield MD. It is part of the Labor Day HARDSHELL CRAB Festival. I used to go there annually for the weekend event. Good times!

IF: "Here’s the proper technique for docking a boat." /sarc The best people to watch for learning docking in the marina are the harbor patrol and the tow boat captains. Slow and in control.

That’s a high level of competence, a lot of ppl would fuck that up. Proper technique for most people would include being careful and taking your time.
