It's time to retire this idea from some that Democrats should nominate a straight white guy in 2028 to be "safe." Just look at GOP attacks on James Talarico, a straight white Christian. They're calling him "Tofu Talarico" and "transgender" and running the exact same culture-war playbook they've used on everyone else. They called Joe Biden a communist. Don't base decisions on GOP talking points. Pick the best candidates and stand by your values.
