This is how the immigration system destroyed the lives of many skilled workers and Master's TRs. They deserve better, but the system rewards fraud while forcing legal, skilled even top university grads to suffer lifelong mental trauma. Immigration wasn’t like this

Getting 500 plus CRS without LMIA points is an accomplishment by surving all the hardships, leaving comfort zone and challenging yourself every single day to do something valuable and productive. If still Canadian govt. doesn’t recognise then not sure what they have in mind.

@LenaMetlegeDiab this is the actual issue. Unfortunately, @SeanFraserMP & @marcomendicino policies severely damaged immigration system history will remember their impact. While @MarcMillerVM ‘s fixes to appease some, past mistakes cannot be undone without meaningful reform

I’m not sure why I feel a sense of relief hearing this, as I’ve been saying it for a long time. Unfortunately, new immigrants are the ones paying the price for those poor policies.

I would like to add that the policies in place during Sean eara were severely lacking in understanding of global politics. He allowed some countries facing challenges in the United States to enter without visas, leading to a significant increase in refugee cases.

I agree with several of the points raised. I fully understand the current immigration landscape, but I also believe that Canada will continue to need more immigrants specifically, skilled individuals with genuine professional backgrounds and strong language proficiency. If the initiatives currently being developed by our Prime Minister are implemented in the near future, I am confident that many existing challenges in the system can be addressed. A note about the STEM category, it deserves greater prioritization. Given the revolutionary advancements in technology and the increasing demand for talent in areas like AI and software development especially with the creation of the new Ministry of AI Canada urgently needs to attract more developers and programmers.

Well not just that , @AskKubeir you are missing another big point here , people who were on visitor visa were crowned with a free open work permit which was extendable !
