I’m not American. It is truly terrifying to watch what I believed was a robust democracy that has weathered terrible storms and survived only to be stronger be dismantled so quickly. I don’t know if your democracy can survive this, but I know that people like you give me hope.

You hate people who didn’t vote like you and want to project every wrong thing upon them and those who voted for them. You point and laugh. You blame. You scoff. You bully. So stop acting so damn superior because that’s what you say you dislike about the opposition. You are a hate cheerleader. Own it or do something else.

We move forward by actually talking to one another, offering compliments, asking thoughtful questions, and being curious instead of combative. There’s real value in sharing kindness, listening, and learning about each other’s opinions, even when they differ. That’s how understanding grows, hope returns, and people connect instead of tearing each other apart.
