Here’s why regime media is framing the Ireland protests as being started by “rumors” “Rumors” are the new bar they’re trying to set as a social media censorship predicate. It’s an even lower bar than “mis/disinformation” I explain here (receipts in thread below):

Here you’ll note the unanimous framing between the NYT, WaPo & NPR: “Rumors” are the reason for the riots, they imply Their goal is killing the ability to circulate rumors that undermine the regime

Rumors as the new censorship predicate, with a lower bar for takedown than mis/disinfo:

Holy shit! “Rumor Control Panel” is a thing!!! Is there a “Thought Control Panel” yet?? These people are sociopaths!

CIA spreads rumours. Accuse others for what they are guilty of before they do it to you! Human made climate change is a rumour. Vaccines that make you more healthy is a rumour. Ukraine winning is a disproven rumour.

Time to start the "OK Rumor" meme then when rumor is used to censor

Again. Leftism is a cancer on society.

In Ireland they were slow rolling the information, by the evening the official info was just that they had " a person of interest" no name or ethnicity but Irish Twitter knew the race of the attacker within an hour or 2. Now the gov. are talking about hate speech laws

Great catch! I used the "rumor" term on my kids when I shut down activities I didn't want to spend the time or give them the impression that I needed any (predicate) to shut them down. Definite control of a lesser human viewpoint.

🤣🤣🤣 I'm laughing because its so bloody obvious that we don't see. EVERYONE!!! Follow @MikeBenzCyber. They've gone from Conspiracy Theorist to Misinformation, Disinformation, Malinformation to Rumours now. Cheers Mike👍Ahead of the curve as always. WAKE TF UP!!

while Ms. DiResta seems perhaps well intended, she is helplessly captured within the confines of her own political, social, economic, and cultural matrix - as we all are; alas, distinguishing attribute is supreme confidence in telling the rest of us what we are allowed to see
