As a Canadian I fully support what the US is doing. If we had a government and leader that cared for us these issues would have been solved prior to Trump taking office. Trudeau actually went to Mar-a-lago and nothing eas accomplished. Trump gave us the oppertunity to fix this.

All of the large Refineries in the US now refine Sour Crude. 20 years ago, maybe not as much but as sweet crude became so expensive, modifications were made to be able refine the cheap stuff. That took adding more Sulfur Recovery Units and, Coker Units. I know, I worked from 1978 to 2017 in a Refinery.
