So we are just going to gloss over United Nations agencies releasing press releases with headings such as: 'Gaza is ‘running out of time’ UN experts warn, demanding a ceasefire to prevent genocide'

Genocide? Yes, because while Israel have warned all civilians to leave the conflict zone to ensure the survival of as many Palestinians as possible, Hamas has clarified their position on the genocide issue as being slightly different:

And on the same day as your continued glorification of your heroes in the UN, Iran is elected to a Human Rights Committee.

Only one question: why are you promoting the same rhetoric of Iran, Hezbollah, Russia and China?

Indeed we do @OwenJones84 So why is it you consider that this language and, intention is somehow, not the same?

Isis launched genocide in Syria wiping out the country’s Christians yet I don’t remember Owen and his mates protesting on the streets and making videos all day .

The concerns raised by @OwenJones84 regarding the potential for genocide in Gaza are deeply troubling and warrant serious legal and ethical consideration. The term "genocide" is one of the most severe in international law, defined by the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (1948) as acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. The resignation of a senior UN official over fears of genocide underscores the gravity of the situation. When UN Special Rapporteurs and scholars specializing in genocide studies raise alarms, it is a call to the international community to pay attention and act to prevent potential atrocities. International law, through instruments like the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, obligates states to prevent and punish the crime of genocide. The use of genocidal language by any leader is not only reprehensible but also potentially indicative of the risk of grave crimes that could follow. The situation in Gaza is complex, with historical and geopolitical factors contributing to the tensions and violence. However, the international legal framework is clear: genocide, or any action that may lead to it, must be unequivocally condemned and prevented. For those seeking to understand the legal definitions, implications, and the mechanisms in place for the prevention and punishment of genocide, @LawDiscoveries provides in-depth analysis and educational resources on these critical issues. #GenocideConvention #InternationalLaw #HumanRights #Gaza #UN #RomeStatute #ICC

You keep using this word. I don’t think it means what you thin it means. The key is intent. Israel’s fight is with Hamas not others. In urban warfare damage is severe, but not wanton. The option that you’re actually hurting ppl by this Orwellian newspeak is not inconceivable.
