Why use a microwave, just heat it on the stove. Don't drink from water bottles just drink clean spring water and put it in a glass. They are making this so poisonous, when in reality, it was a better way of living back in the 50's 60's.

This is exactly why petroleum plastics need to be replaced by hemp based bioplastics. No phthalates, no BPA and no microplastics. And hemp bioplastics are better for the environment since they break down naturally in a landfill.

That doctor is in an absolutely terrific animated documentary on endocrine disruptors: "The Great Invasion" which you can find on Y*uT*be.

Not that she’s lying but I’ve never seen any research that’s ever pointed out or linked cancer to microwaving anything in plastic

You cannot avoid it. Every pipe that delivers drinking water, pumped from a lake or well, filtered through a process, all is in contact with plastic. Taking your water that went through plastic pipes and putting it in a metal bottle does nothing.

Only some "plastics" share the characteristics she's describing (mobile plasticizers). How about thermosets, elastomers, and silicones? I've come to expect higher resolution discussion from Huberman.

wait a second… microwaves use electro magnetic waves that cause molecules to resonate which results in heated food. why did she just compare microwaving plastic to a water bottle sitting in the sun?
