Can we please focus on the more positive aspects of the culture instead? It is also worth noting that cultural practices & traditions can evolve over time, & what may have been considered a part of Maldivian culture in the past may not necessarily be the case today. Sad but true

What about the traditional dances which still exists? Bodu beru? Fathi jehun? Maafathi? Honestly when did we ever have couple dance as traditional dance? True that things change or die with time. But performing something from some other culture is totally different. Dho

Not only maldives have a culture and tradition. Never have i ever seen any country disrespecting it as much as this. Oh!! such terrible dancers too 🤦🏼‍♀️ what a shame.

Everyone talks about the western culture destroying our heritage. Why isn’t anyone talking about the Bollywood factor? It’s more widespread than western culture for sure.
