Hermes Agent now has a desktop app! I made a quick video showing how easy it is to install, set up, and get to work! It perfectly synced with my existing agent, or you can use it to make a new one. Plus, a quick tour of the features!... show more

The new Hermes Agent desktop app changes the way you interact with Hermes Agent. It is basically ChatGPT, but for Hermes Agent. This new app made it 10x easier to set up Hermes Agent. Within 5 minutes I had Hermes setup on my machine. If you have not already tried this new app make sure you do. Full review video below.

I've been testing Bot Mode in the Hermes Desktop App a bit today, so I made a quick video showing the key features and how it differs from a normal Hermes session: - Side bar shows a list of bots (agent profiles) you can talk to - Agent Inbox allows bots to communicate directly with one another - Create Agent to make a new bot with a custom PFP, description, and configuration - Cron jobs bar on the right to create crons for specific bots Still in testing for the next day, so let's test it out and see how it can be improved!

Huge news for Claude subscribers! We can now use our subscriptions in Hermes Agent using the Direct SDK plugin! I made a video showing how to install this plugin, enable it, and start working with Fable 5.1 in Hermes Agent!

I've been using Blender with Hermes Agent for a bit to play around with 3D modeling and video gen workflows, but now the MCP is in the official catalog! I made a short video to show how to get it set up and make your first 3D model in Hermes Agent. Thanks!

I made a short video demonstrating how to use /learn in Hermes Agent to take a bunch of different sources, as well as your own preferences expressed to Hermes, and create a reusable skill. It's never been easier to teach your Hermes exactly how to work for you!

You can now work with your Hermes Agent in Buzz! I did a short demo video to show how you can set it up using the gateway option, so you have full Hermes functionality. Very interesting to see how this app develops!

Want to chat with your Hermes Agent on iMessage without a Mac? The latest v0.17.0 update made this possible (and super easy)! I made a quick video showing how to get this all set up in less than three minutes. Enjoy!

Kanban board is now a part of the Hermes Desktop app! I did a quick video showing how to enable this plugin, plus I ran a real task through the kanban process using multiple agent profiles. Super easy to do and the look of the kanban in the app is very clean! Take a look!

Hermes is powerful. But Open WebUI makes it way easier to actually use. Here’s the setup: → Run Hermes locally → Add the API server → Set up the environment file → Install Open WebUI with Docker → Connect Hermes as the chat agent → Log in and start chatting through a clean UI Now you can use Hermes without living inside the terminal. You get a ChatGPT-style interface, file uploads, model switching, web search, image tools, previews, and cleaner conversation management. Save this video, you’ll make Hermes 10x easier to use. Want the SOP? DM me. 💬

Omarchy + Hermes Agent is a powerful combo This video shows how you can launch the Hermes Desktop app from the menu, as well as how you can make Hermes your default agent (and what that means) I posted a clip of the Desktop portion earlier in the week, but the full video has garnered a lot of interest and views on YouTube, so I wanted to post it here for the X audience! Check it out!

Now you can use your favorite AI agent to control your Coinbase account (or a sub-account), with Coinbase for Agents. Here’s a quick demo on how to set it up and some of the cool things you can get your agent to do.

Over 90,000 Skills sitting inside Hermes Desktop is kind of insane!!!🤯 Did you know Hermes Desktop has a built-in Skills Hub with more than 90,000 Skills you can browse and add to an agent? And you can do it right from Desktop. Go to: Capabilities → Skills From there, open the Skills Hub under your installed Skills. You can: • search the catalog • browse by category or source • open any Skill to read what it does • review platform support, author, version, requirements, and docs • click + Add to this Agent to install it directly to the agent/profile you have selected That means if you want Hermes to get better at a specific type of work, you do not have to go hunting through repos or memorize install commands first. Just open the Hub, look through the catalog, inspect the Skill, and add it with one click. A lot of users still have no idea this is sitting inside Hermes Desktop.

I’ve been waiting to post this! The Box Agent skill now ships pre-installed with Nous Research Hermes agent. Box gives Hermes the content and context to become a real collaborator at work. Update Hermes, prompt `connect to Box`, and your agent can now search, read, and write across Box with Box AI. Here’s a quick demo 👇

What can you do with persistent multi-gateway connections in the Hermes Desktop app? I made a quick video showing how you can add multiple local or cloud agents to a single desktop app and use Bot Mode to quickly chat with each Plus, I make a multi-gateway group for agents from three different machines to work together on the same project at the same time. I figured the responses would be quick delayed, but as you see in the video there was very little latency between them This opens up a lot of workflow possibilities!

Buzz is a really cool open-source app that allows communities and teams to share a space with their agents, and even share compute! I made a quick video guide to get this installed, set up, and start chatting with your agent in a shared space. Lots more to explore! Also, check out these DGX Spark/GB10 and Hermes Agent communities!

I gave Nous Research Hermes agent a company brain. I've been LOVING Hermes agent as my personal assistant but haven't been able to use it for work. AI agents are powerful but they are siloed. They don’t have access to the same files, comments, versions, or decisions your team is working from. So I connected Hermes to Box. Now my Hermes agent can work from Slack, use files, comments, and decisions stored on Box as the single source of truth, and get shi* done.
