First 50 people who sign up with code "resonant" at will get their inference costs sponsored by yours truly for a month

100 people signed up yesterday - thank you! I just opened another 100 spots with access code “mercury”

Some background on Hermes' product philosophy and 100 more access codes using "dignified"

@claudeai "what it can't do and won't do is just as important as what it can do" very good

@claudeai yesbut it's pronounced Air-Mez

@claudeai But Hermes is for the people, Adam

@claudeai 'won't write for you' is the right call. every AI writing tool wants to replace your voice and the output always reads the same. i've been doing something similar with obsidian + claude. AI for structure and feedback, my words. way better results

@claudeai Obsidian + WisprFlow was my way to preserve my voice. I’d usually generate several draft to explore how I might structure my own, but I’d always write it myself

@claudeai fire

@claudeai This is excellent

@claudeai Thank you! It’s lovely to see how much its been resonating

@claudeai !!!! Heck yes

@claudeai That’s my genius once again!!!

@claudeai Reporting for duty!!! 🫡🫡🫡

@claudeai 🤌✨

@claudeai Wow this is like Hemingway Editor but on accelerated I like!!!!!

@claudeai Absolutely love this, Sean

@claudeai yesssssssssssssss

@claudeai why not use for the editor?

@claudeai The 'won't write for you' approach is refreshing. Honestly curious though — how does Claude handle the editing suggestions without veering into autocomplete territory? Seems like a fine line.

@claudeai great

@claudeai what about multiple tabs? I use @obsdmd with claude in parallel but your approach looks like cursor but for writing. I like it very much!

@claudeai Looks really interesting! Is it directed at non-literary writing only or at literary writing too?

@claudeai It’s flexible to any kind of writing. I’d love if you gave it a try with your style and shared feedback!

@claudeai I'm curious for sure!

@claudeai Anyway to provide our own keys and not sharing the docs to the servers?

@claudeai Looks really cool and promising, will try more later today. One feedback—the sign-up page, when entering password gives 'invalid request' without saying why. I then added a @ and a number to the password and it worked.

@claudeai Where is the code for this! Would love to check it out!

@claudeai Can't try with any of the two codes mentioned :(

@claudeai “mercury”

@claudeai thank you !

@claudeai Love this and love the Dignified Technology principle! Where could I learn more about your thoughts on that?

@claudeai Thank you! You can read about it here:

@claudeai Beautifully written. Thanks for sharing!

@claudeai sean i NEED this

@claudeai I‘ll post more access codes tomorrow. If you don’t want to wait, you can always fork the repo and add your own keys!

@claudeai shipping

@claudeai Preserves your voice while deepening ideas-this feels like meaningful writing companion

@claudeai this looks awesome, when can we bring our own api keys? i’ve tried other ai cowriting apps & haven’t been completely satisfied yet

@claudeai It’s open source. I encourage you to fork it, bring your own key, customize it, etc

@claudeai Excited to try!! ggz

@claudeai “Mercury”

@claudeai This is so SO cool! Will try and report back!

@claudeai really nice!

This is excellent! Trying it with some drafts I found the highlights genuinely helped me explore tensions/questions/opportunities I wasn't able to clearly articulate to myself. And I like how even-handed you are with what the LLM can do directly vs. what the writer must.

@claudeai Hugh praise sir, thanks for trying it out. Love that it’s been a useful tool for you

@claudeai would love to see it in action, any demo?

@claudeai visually slick, great quality of execution. looks powerful. let's launch you mate on if that helps btw.

@claudeai 🔥

@claudeai The more capable AI tools become the more necessary dignified technology principle. We want tech that expands human capacity, even in circumstances where AI is stronger. Love this as an example

@claudeai v cool! will give it a spin

@claudeai Thanks! Would love any feedback
