Heroic dog protects playing child

Are you sure that the black dog wanted to attack the child? It looks like the black dog went after the white dog, possibly thinking that it was attacking the child. The black dog did not go after the child.

I’m a dog owner & all dogs should be kept on lead if the owners are unable to control them !!!

For those saying the other dog was going after the dog. Guess what? It doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is that the black dog clearly came for an attack and the brown dog reacted. That's why the dog pushed the kid down. He wanted the boy to be safe from attack.

The dog was not attacking at all. It was obviously looking to play. You can see from its behaviour. Looking to play with the other dog. Zero signs of aggression.

ppl "But the dog was going after the other dog" What these ppl don't realize is the hero dog was protecting the boy regardless (by putting itself between it and the attacking dog). The hero dog wasn't taking any chances, i.e. what if the attacking dog opted to attack the child?
