How is it acceptable that people who entered this country illegally receive free food, free housing, free healthcare, and Social Security benefits while actual American citizens and retired military are left fighting for the support they earned? I put my life on the line for this country. I paid into the system my entire working life. And those who broke the law to get here are handed priority. That is not compassion. I think emotion is important and effective especially when accompanied by clear facts. In order to get beyond MSM and social media silos, good if we posted clear facts (like @schotts has been posting here) on billboards that have an easy to remember URL with links to reliable sources on a variety of questions.
