"He's Austin Theory, that's the problem. The only difference is he shaved his head. He wrestles the same way. It's the Vince McMahon 2003, big jacked up guy, very simple matches, doing chin locks. No one wants to see that in 2025." - Bryan Alvarez

Vince McMahon was sexually abused by his mother. In a 2001 Playboy interview, Vince McMahon heavily implied that he was sexually abused by his mother. PLAYBOY: "You have said that the sexual abuse in your childhood 'wasn't from the male. It's well known that you're estranged from your mother. Have we found the reason?" McMahon paused, nodded, and replied: "Without saying that. I'd say that's pretty close." McMahon later revisited the subject in the 2024 Mr. McMahon documentary, where he spoke more broadly about his childhood abuse and rejected the idea that victims are destined to become abusers. Reflecting on his childhood trauma, Vince remarked: "When you're abused as a kid, the tendency is for you to abuse. I've never subscribed to that. Anything bad that happens to you, get rid of it."
