Emiliano Teodo really seems to be putting it all together again. After putting up a 2.38 ERA for the month of June, Teodo now has back-to-back scoreless outings to start the month of July. Teodo pitched 1 inning tonight, allowing 1 hit, 0 runs, 1 walk, and struck out the side on 26 pitches. The Rangers have been working with Teodo throughout the season to fine tune his delivery, and he really seems to be reaping the rewards right now. He’s catching seams really well again which has led to his sinker getting back to that crazy arm-side run he became known for. I’m not going to go as far as making a declaration that he’ll see a call up soon since I feel like a lot of people, myself included at times, can get a little too caught up in the mindset of wanting a prospect to be promoted whenever they’re on a strong run of form. Teodo is in a groove right now, and he’s just got to keep doing what he’s doing and everything will work out in due time.

The difference in the way Drew threw in HS/college and what we saw in the videos from the Steelers rookie camp is extremely subtle (basically a slight adjustment w/ the front leg and zero change to his upper half or arm path/slot) and most wouldn’t be able to pick up on it. I disagree that he was early with his external rotation during college. The video below (from 2024) shows his typical approach over the past 7 years…staying loaded and coiled on the back leg until the front foot makes contact with the ground. The drill is designed to keep him loaded in his back glute, and maintain the discipline to not fire his hips early, until his front foot gets down. His front foot and hip slightly clear (while staying coiled in the core) to allow the hips to come through cleanly. That slight opening of the front hip, along with the slight closure-internal rotation-of the front shoulder is how hip-shoulder separation is created. Getting the hips to come through first (while the shoulders and arms stay back), then the torso, then the shoulders, is how hip-shoulder separation (power) is maximized. Learned that from Chris Hess and it’s been a fantastic tool.

I'm open-sourcing tws, the tool I've been using for the last few months to organize my engineering work. I've always been a terminal-first engineer; tmux + nvim has been my default. Then AI coding agents arrived and shifted what I needed from that setup. Running several Claude Code and Codex sessions in parallel, the flat tmux session list stopped being enough. So I built tws to fit how I actually work now. It's built on top of tmux, no reinvented wheel. You keep all of tmux's power and flexibility underneath. On top of that, it gives you: - Threads: an abstract organizational layer above tmux sessions, so related work groups together instead of sitting in a flat list - Notes: quick markdown notes attached to each thread or session, kept right next to your work - Fast switching: fuzzy finding, recent-session jumps, and keyboard-driven navigation between everything - Agents view: every Claude Code / Codex session running across your projects in one place, with the ability to pin the ones you keep coming back to Fully configurable — themes, palette, keybindings — via a TOML file. 🚨BREAKING: In Oklahoma City, ICE agents are seen chasing a young man through a parking lot, tasing him, then repeatedly smashing his head, and dragging his face across the concrete… while he isn’t resisting. In the video, after he falls to the ground, agents pile on top of him, as the agents smash his head into the concrete multiple times. While he’s lying on the ground… not fighting back, and making no visible attempt to get away… the agents drag his face across the pavement as they go to handcuff him. Then, with both agents already on top of him, and his arms being pulled behind his back, one agent slams his head into the concrete, again. Even after both agents have him pinned, and are kneeling on him, one agent continues forcing his head into the pavement. By the time they finally pull him to his feet, you can clearly see his face is injured. Law enforcement are allowed to use force, that’s objectively reasonable, under the circumstances. But, once someone is effectively under control, any additional force has to be justified by a legitimate safety need… not punishment, anger, or retaliation. If someone is no longer actively resisting, repeatedly driving their head into concrete… is difficult to justify as necessary force. This is exactly what happens when the government refuses to hold ICE agents accountable. The more ICE agents get away with excessive force, the more excessive force becomes their normal.

Thomas Massie claims he will publicly read the names of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients before his time in Congress ends. My question is: If this is truly about justice for the victims, why the hell is he waiting another 7 months? Why not release the names right now like a man with actual balls?
