"Golf is as close to marriage as I’ve gotten." Katt Williams has thrived in the entertainment industry, but he LOVES that he's "not anybody on the golf course." Mindful: Katt Williams drops Wednesday on the PGA TOUR YouTube channel.

A friendship that will make you smile ❤️ In 2021, Calvin, a patient at St. Jude, designed custom golf shoes for @MaxHoma23. Two years later, Calvin and Max met in person and spent some time on the course FedEx St. Jude Championship.

After finishing The Open at -1, Rory McIlroy won't play again until the FedEx St. Jude Championship, which begins Aug. 12. He hasn't confirmed what will happen if he only plays 14 PGA Tour events this season, one below the 15-event minimum.

Another week, another FUNERAL for a LONGTIME PGA Tour sponsor.⚰️ Scottie Scheffler: “sad that the FedEx St. Jude will be gone in 2028.” At this rate, the Tour’s schedule announcement is going to come with an obituary section.🗞️ BTW: The media might wanna take a break from its LIV Golf cope and check up on that so-called “unprecedented momentum” in Ponte Vedra.

The PGA Tour suspended Jon Rahm, who left for LIV Golf, back in December. On Tuesday, Rahm addressed the media at the 2024 PGA Championship, dispelled the idea that he's "on the other side," and claimed he's both still a member and still wants to support the PGA Tour. Panelists at The Golf Channel weren't thrilled, especially not Arron Oberholser. "I want to wring his neck through the television. I'm that mad right now. I'm that mad. Every player in that locker room on the PGA Tour should be absolutely incensed with him."

Veteran pro Matt Atkins has seen many sides of professional golf, from PGA TOUR membership to week-to-week uncertainty as a conditional Korn Ferry Tour member. "A couple years ago I was conditional, no starts, and it's just a bit chaotic," Atkins said. Atkins is intrigued for the TOUR's newly announced competitive framework, effective in 2028, as players on the PGA TOUR Challenger Series fight to punch up to the PGA TOUR Championship Series. He thinks the defined playing schedule for pros will improve the product as well. "I think it's a big win for fans of golf," Atkins said. "It will be a lot easier to understand."
