Cancer Diagnosis. When I was diagnosed with cancer 22 years ago, the first doctor I saw told me there was nothing wrong with me. It was only when I got a second opinion that the cancer was found. In Ashfield, there are around 540 new cancer cases every year. Yet only around 55% of cancers in Ashfield are diagnosed in the early stages. So if in doubt, get checked out, and get a second opinion. It was great to catchup with Cancer Research UK yesterday and see the work they have been doing recently.

Burscough football club would not like to only wish Goodie a massive good luck but we would like to thank him for some great memories in the short amount of time he’s been here. Goodie has been recalled by Everton to go back into the Squads. In the time he’s been here, he’s been a massive personality and a great keeper. He will be hugely missed on and off the field. We will continue to support and watch as his career progresses as we know how far he can go. What a player, what a kid and thank you to Everton for your help. Whenever I see this many posts about me in a row on someone’s page, I know I already won the debate before the first one even dropped. I like Alex, but he was wrong to imply Dave Portnoy was a pedophile. Alex does great work, but you don’t get to do a bunch of good things and then use your position of “pedo poacher” to slander someone as wanting to have sex with children just because you disagree with them. Alex lost my respect and some of his credibility when he did that. He was wrong, I called him out, now he’s spiraling and trying to slander me the same way because he knows he’s wrong. Stay mad bro 🤷🏻‍♂️

My buddy Ramon van Meer is a single dad and runs a great company. He somehow has enough time to coach middle school football. Now fyi this isn’t his son’s team. Years ago he coached his kids team and the younger kids heard about him and asked if he’d couch theirs. Also, up until he started coaching, Ramon barely knew was football was (he’s Dutch). He had to read like five books! He shows up every game with like $30 in $5 Starbucks gift cards and hands em out as prizes for different players. Well, today he was asked to come speak to the entire middle school where he coaches football. They asked him because the kids kept bragging how inspirational he is and how much they love him. I’m so freakin proud of Ramon. He inspires me so much.
