He's doubling down on trying to prove he made the piece. He is posting "progress" videos. He just traced line art over the initial image and just color-picked the colors from the source and recorded a video.

Who colors a highlight before the low or mid lights? Before even the flats? Who draws hair mid strand to scalp?? And draws the outer layers of hair before the rest??

Jesus Christ, that is not how you do digital painting! I've painted, and watched others on YT, for over 15 years and NO ONE does it like this.

does anyone paint like this? i dont buy this at all! I really want to give this guy the benefit of the doubt but i really just dont believe it.

This isn’t the first time someone with genuine skill does this double down, it’s really sad to see. I’ve never taken an art class where you block out a piece of work and full render/light it in chunks like that. Like we’re just skipping flats and going straight to full light?

This should be considered fraud.
