It’s just never going to be the same. 🥹 Look at how much passion he has for the Browns. There wasn’t a bigger Brownie ever. 💔

The reason Donovan was so damn good is that he was just as excited for what was happening on the field as the fans were. I never met the man but I am so thankful I was alive to hear his calls. Truly the best voice in the NFL. RIP sir.

@fangsbites Kenny knows this as well but Donovan did some great work at NBC in the 80s. You can find it on YouTube. Lots of regional stuff but IYKYK.

I grew up watching this man as a sports anchor on WKYC and went on to enjoy listening to him calling #DawgPound games for so many years! Very saddened to hear of his passing. Love and prayers to his family and the city of Cleveland

A very sad day. Deepest sympathies and condolences to Jim’s family, friends, colleagues and all of us who cherished him and his work. Jim brought so much joy to everyone that heard his voice. He’ll be missed. RIP Jim.

He was just a fan like the rest of us, but he got to call the games. A true legend.
