Never used to be a MV fan but got to say he’s absolute box office to watch in whatever formula he’s driving in. Also talks a lot of sense to about current F1 issues. Supremely talented.

This comes from knowing every inch of this lengthy track like the back of his hand. From actually driving it before, yes, but from endless sim racing in every spare hour too. You can drive the Ring too if you’re willing to be a complete racing nerd.

For Max fans trying to follow the race today:

NO OTHER DRIVER in F1 is even contemplating this let alone executing it!!!! Which also says a lot about the level of the other GT drivers as well as I’ve seen some of them pull off moves only Max fm F1 would produce. The fact he keeps it pinned as well with even a blip.

This for me isn't even the most insane overtake hes made so far 😅

Crime driving Nurburgring 24 hour and doing the 24 hour in iRacing this is by far the hardest part of the track to do an overtake on usually the overtakes occur on the back long straight before the last turn before the checkered flag when the driver behind the car in front of

— Max, what type of tyres do you want? Rain, soft? — I’ll take grass

And only Max can do thee overtakes every other driver that tries to do these overtakes ends up doing a pit remover hitting the back left or right tire of the car and causing them to spin out and crash and seriously injure the other driver and cause their season to be over.
