I liked that cover change. Without the book that by itself seems to have an interesting point like a screen saver. And even better would be something that keeps automatically changing based on time of day etc.

Yeah. Been on Kindle since it was launched. I had a Kindle Signature briefly. Great to read but I hated the asymmetric back which meant i couldn't prop it on the table. So got back to Paperwhite.

I think it is already there with kindle.

The quiet shift is that you didn't request the feature, you shipped a working version of it. The old distance between 'someone should build this' and a thing you can actually use is basically gone. The people who want a niche app will just make it now, not wait for Apple.

iBook app is there for such activities for last more than 10yrs.
