Go start the boycott against these liquor stores first and weโ€™ll join you.

When youโ€™re getting paid enough, youโ€™ll say anything! Definitely need to boycott not only these liquor stores but this wave of music that makes people feel as if drinking and smoking is โ€œcool.โ€

What she said was something to think about and a great piece of information, but her delivery was tactless. Yes, we should boycott the liquor stores and gas stations for the reasons she mentioned, but those smaller stores donโ€™t send money to politicians to screw us

Always be careful of people asking you to punch down and not up. People are boycotting those companies because of their hiring practices. The liquor store ain't got crap to do with that. When Target gets rid of their DEI program is that the fault of Tanqueray or Target?

I donโ€™t listen to those who offer no solutions, but speak on those who are trying at something

Why does she act like there would be no other stores to shop from or other places to work if they closed! And if she was active on the grassroots level she would know blk ppl do boycott gas stations& liquor stores! Stfu

โ€œHey let these companies treat u however they want cuz otherwise theyโ€™ll take your job awayโ€ ๐Ÿ™„ If u think the โ€œCEOs betting on putsโ€ in the stock market, why wouldnโ€™t u just tell the employees to do the same shit instead of not boycotting??

Yo she RIGHT!! Pic 3 Gas stations in your area that 1 donโ€™t hire anyone from the community. 2) Treat and talk to yall LIKE trash. 3) the facility is unkept etc. And STOP going to them. Black them out. Because everything she said was on point

White Supremacy is the real problem. For over 400 years Black People with all of their PhDs, Master degrees and Bachelor degrees from HBCUS and Ivy League universities still havenโ€™t figured out a way to be in positions of power and change systemic oppression (White Supremacy). Until White Supremacy is eradicated then those โ€œboycotts, marches, and protestsโ€ are simply for show. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’šโœŠ๐Ÿพ

As Civil rights bills were being signed the US government was operating an economic war on Black businesses and neighborhoods. The Black misleadership class never addressed this sabotage.

Theyโ€™re not blacking out liquor stores and gas stations because thatโ€™s not the point. People are boycotting where their voices will be HEARD. A blackout is about impact, not convenience.

Novel idea. But no need for the negative disposition. No one has thought it until you. Great idea so why doesn't she start it? What's her @?

Ppl always point out the problem but never come with real solutions. So continue to pad their pockets and allow them to continue to treat you any kind of way? Why canโ€™t you boycott both? Especially the companies of billionaires. Iโ€™ll never knock someone trying.

In addition, funding is provided for foreigners to buy all the stores in the black community, blacks typically find it very difficult to get funding. These stores sell different products than what you find in QT and similar stores.

She's right! Too often so-called black American leaders are performative. They're not considering their constituents when they push certain agendas. That's why I don't personally participate in boycotts. Instead, I stop purchasing silently. I never show my hand to my opponents.

This is a one-up attempt that didnโ€™t land. Bigger corporations, bigger national targets. More effective. Does she have a point about the Arab, Chinese and Indian in our communities selling this poison in our communities by design, yes. We will get there, but not right now.

Sheโ€™s socially delusional to the reasons ppl boycott the retail stores and businesses. She wanna be different and sound โ€œenlightenedโ€ so bad but instead she sound like she been living under a rock for the past decade.

CEOs donโ€™t get paid from the top they get paid from the bottom. Every dollar comes from consumer spending and employee labor. Thatโ€™s why when a company starts losing money, they reshuffle the top before they touch the bottom, because the bottom funds the entire system.

๐Ÿ˜‚ There isn't one ABC store in the African neighborhoods in my city. Not one. They have to drive uptown to buy a bottle. Also, African middle-class buy stock so that angle doesnt work either. Boycott any corporation that supports MAGA. Shop the hood.

In reality, heโ€™s saying a whole bunch of nothing. You can follow along with a boy cat you could collectively not go to liquor stores. You could talk into bubblegum at the same time, but donโ€™t give me no perspectives and insights about how companies operate you donโ€™t know

All of them look crazy boycotting these establishments that employ black folks while sexxyred and NBA youngboy are on tour. Our kids canโ€™t read and write anymore, black male college enrollment is down. Priorities completely out of whack

So no, Black people arenโ€™t being hypocritical. We can address national corporate behavior AND local community problems at the same time, with different tools for different challenges.
