ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: When you show pictures of how clean Cape Town CBD is, they will then ask you about the townships. Like for like Cape Town CBD is the cleanest in South Africa by far. Let’s go to the townships, Cape Town townships have working swimming pools, I saw a play area which also had like a gym thing. Not sure we’re exactly but I saw an entire street in Cape Town township lined with palm trees. Then go to other townships in other provinces, no palm trees, no working swimming pool,and take a place like inanda in kzn, no running water for nearly a year. It’s also chaotic, did not see any swimming pools, they just broadened the lanes on the road. 90% of street lights not working, a resident said it’s like this for years. Cape Town in this years budget have a massive budget for fixing things that need to be fixed. Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis is a protege of Helen Zille and she is the only person in the country that can fix jhb. Frame 1: Cape Town CBD Frame 2: the cleaner part of jhb CBD which actually looks disgusting Frame 3: Cape Town townships.
