I don’t use the N-word personally. I grew up with older parents who lived through real hate, my dad’s church was bombed by the KKK, and they heard that slur from racist people every day. In our home, that word was off-limits, no exceptions. It’s something that stuck with me. Others can do what they want, but in my house, that word was never an option.
