Did anyone actually ask for this? I see a lot of feedback asking for a functional customer service. Fix the basics first. It’s impossible to get human help for severe issues, we just get generic scripts and AI bots. I encountered bedbugs at an Airbnb and @AirbnbHelp still refuses a full refund👇

Interesting to see this direction. We’ve been building around the same idea at @scouthaloapp understanding what someone needs, then finding the place that actually fits.

The handoff is the hard design problem with agentic AI: which decisions can the agent make on its own, and which need to stay with the guest? When it’s uncertain mid-booking, does it guess or ask?

I've been a customer for 10+ years and love @Airbnb I think the best thing you can do is create an MCP, so my agent can understand my patterns, mix them with everything it already knows about me and my goals, and do the search for me. Then "My Agent" not another chat on Airbnb only come back with proposals like: I found these 4 apartments for 3 months in Tokyo. I say book 3, and it books it for me.

Brian, it’s not only about new updates. Your policy needs to change as well. It should protect and support consumers, not just hosts.

random idea: any thoughts on linking up with Eventbrite and/or Luma to offer more depth in the trip planning? in this rise of the IRL economy it could be helpful to know what events of my interests are happening before i arrive, and buying tickets for those via AirBnB could be awesome (+ ya’ll could get rev share on the checkout right?) just a thought, maybe not a good one 😂
