Even if (especially if) you think Flat Earth is the most ridiculous nonsense you've ever heard, I recommend downloading a Flat Earth app that shows you the Sun/Moon circuit paths, plus the Moon phases, other planets' locations, etc. They all have different features, but the most important part is the main screen shown in this video, where you can watch the Sun & Moon's journeys around the North Pole. Play around with it, especially when you're outside and can see the Sun/Moon to reference their positions yourself. I pull this up anytime I'm curious where the Moon will be rising from where I am. It's perfectly accurate every time, because it's showing what's actually happening 😉

What's Missing From This Solar Eclipse? 🌞🌖 Have you ever stopped to think that when you see a solar eclipse, you never see the moon before or after the eclipse? Most people don't. What we see is a black circle appearing out of nowhere and moving across the face of the sun. The point being, a solar eclipse is not what they taught you in school. Nobody knows exactly what it is, but without a doubt, it's not the moon blocking out the sun.

A lot of people hear the term “Flat Earth” and automatically think it’s crazy. This happens for two reasons. 1. You have never truly looked into our model. 2. You have never truly looked into your model. So instead of trying to prove Flat Earth to you, in this thread we will look at a few of the things you must believe, in order to believe in the heliocentric model. Let’s start with tides… This video explains mainstream science’s beliefs on what causes the tides. In order to believe this model you also have to believe that the moon with its weaker gravity, over powers the earth’s gravity in order to pull the water away from earth. Yes, it does sound silly doesn’t it. You also have to believe that for some reason the moon’s gravity only works on salt water and ignores fresh water.

This is a very important point to appreciate because sometimes people will talk about marginal nuclear reactors or any various fusion on Earth, but you have to step up a second and say if you're going to climb the Kardashev scale and have some non trivial and harness some non trivial percentage of the sun's energy, like let's say you wanted to harness a millionth of the sun's energy, which sounds pretty small, that would be about, call it roughly 100,000 times more electricity than we currently generate on Earth for all of civilization, give or take an order of magnitude. So obviously the only way to scale is to go to space. With solar, from launching from Earth you can get to about a terawatt per year. Tonight, a total solar eclipse will cross parts of Europe. I’m also very happy to see my project featured in Datawrapper’s Dispatch, alongside wonderful work from Reuters and The New York Times — teams whose work I’ve admired for years. It’s a real honor to be in such company. Over the past few days, I’ve made a lot of improvements to my Solar Eclipse Atlas. I’m especially grateful to Ernie Wright, a lead visualization specialist at NASA, who took the time to review the project and suggest a small but important improvement. I’ve already implemented it, making the visualization of eclipse paths more accurate. I’ve also added a new feature to the city view. You can now hover over any eclipse and see how it actually unfolded in the sky: how the Moon moved across the Sun, or how it will move during a future eclipse. So for any city, you can now simulate any solar eclipse from 2000 BCE to 3000 CE and see what it looked like from that exact place on Earth. #eclipse #sun

And then Mars is another step beyond that.
