Last workout of the year! As the year comes to an end, I’ve been checking a few baselines to see where I’m at and plan the year ahead. Training’s been a bit inconsistent recently, but with a reduced playing schedule coming up it’ll allow me to train a bit harder and experiment with some things I’ve always wanted to try. It can sometimes get boring over the years if you’re doing similar things relentlessly, year on year. Now that I’ve got a bit more freedom, I’ll be taking advantage of that and adding some fun back in. I’ll be jumping back on the speed train soon too, as my clubhead speed has been down since breaking my ankle last year. I’ll be sharing some of that in the new year and seeing what I can get it back to.

Since I’ve been in Uruguay, I’ve noticed that the song “Gethsemane” is a favorite for these members. We’ve had three different meetings in which this has been sung by three different choirs. It’s a beautiful song, isn’t it? As we think about the words that memorialize and honor Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer, it draws our hearts closer to Him.

Christmas can be a wonderful time of year but it can also be incredibly tough for people. For so many reasons it can actually be the toughest. There is happiness everywhere and an abundance of excess to be had everywhere you look. I know it’s a time when i always struggled when I was drinking and battling other addictions and demons. It can seem like you are alone. That the whole world is against you. How can everybody be so happy yet here you are feeling so worthless, down or panic ridden. I just wanted to say that you are not alone and millions of others have the same issues. The most remarkable thing I ever got for Christmas was a phone call just before I went into ICU. It was a simple humble an unexpected call from someone checking in. It’s why I think it’s important to remember that it’s not designer handbags, PlayStations or iPads that make this time of year. It could be a simple detour to see someone. A 10 minute chat with an old friend that means the world to them. Swallowing your pride to say sorry to someone. It’s the little things. The checking in to let someone know they are not alone. As for me I’m sad and missing Derek and Jumbo is very ill beside me as I write this but I’m also optimistic. I’ve lots of dogs to look after, I’m forcing myself to be social and have not 1 but 2 Christmas meals with friends and I love the life I have. I’m lucky and humble about that now because it wasn’t always that way. Maybe one person who needs to see this will. It’s just a time of year. If you are having it tough you are not alone. If you are doing well yourself have a little check in with somebody you know probably needs it 🙏🥰

his mindset 🥺 🐱 as I said earlier, its been 11 years since we debuted as a group.. and i was joking just now saying that the number 11 is a bit hard to rmbr, so maybe we can just subtract 10 and treat it as the first year of our debut again.. going back to the mindset we had in that very first year.. I hope this new start brings everyone a different perspective 🐱 including me too, honestly I feel like there isn’t a huge difference compared to the past ten years, bc during those ten years I’ve always been doing what I want to do and working hard for my dreams 🐱 and actually, I’ve already achieved a lot of my dreams! and while doing that, I’ve also come up with new ones! I hope I can accomplish these new dreams in my 30s 🐱 the road ahead is still long, and I’ve always had your company along the way.. tysm! I’m really lucky to have you all

I do a little cardio now and lots of skiing in the winter, but otherwise it’s all weights, and I’m the leanest and strongest I’ve ever been. Today is finally the day I, having gone through the period as a trainee, officially become an artist as Yeonjun from TXT~ 🦊 It’s such a happy and meaningful day for me, I’ve been waiting for this moment for a really long time I started training and dancing when I was in my third year of middle school and since then I’ve been growing my dream of becoming a singer. I’ve just been running towards it and before I knew it, 5 years had passed ! And today, that dream finally came true. It’s a moment I’ve longed for so desperately, one I’ve really been waiting for 🦊 Earlier, while filming, I kept thinking back as I watched myself on camera, it made me remember all the times I trained, pushed myself, went through evaluations with the members, worked hard and the effort I put into improving.. all of it just flashed through my mind at once The memories all passed through my mind like frames in a film and in the middle of it, I felt a strong swell of emotions in my heart and in the end, I couldn’t hold it in and it just burst out It was such an emotional and happy day for me 🦊 The tears I’ve shed up until now were a mix of desperation and the desire to achieve my dream but today after such a long time, I finally shed tears of joy. “Dealing with the lonely side of life on Tour was a thing for me at the beginning, because you don’t know anybody and you spend a lot of time on your own in hotel rooms. Just getting used to that, you definitely change as a person. To be a golf professional, you have to be a certain type of person anyway, but life on Tour certainly moulds you into a certain type of person as you evolve and as you age, so I think I have changed a lot, but hopefully for the better. I have certainly become a lot more sympathetic to the struggles that older guys encounter with the game, because it’s just such a challenging sport. "It doesn’t feel particularly reflective, to be honest. You could win and it would soon be forgotten, so the fact that it’s just my 300th event, it’s less symbolic than a win. I’m pretty focused at the moment. I’ve been doing some good things with my swing and I got back with an old caddie so there have been a couple of changes, but it’s been a pretty decent start to the year for me, so I am pretty set on trying to continue good form, kick on, and use this as a catalyst for something better."
