You’re trying so hard to make “fetch” happen. But stereotypes don’t stick unless they’re mostly true. You can’t manufacture one out of thin air, which is what you’re doing. White is a race not an ethnicity. Irish and German are ethnicities. White as a racial construction was put at the top of a racial hierarchy for the explicit purpose of domination and supremacy. That is why it a problem to celebrate the latter, but not the former.
