This upcoming Nintendo emulator is shaping up to be a must-have for retro gaming fans. It faithfully recreates Nintendo games exactly how you remember experiencing them back in the '80s, right down to the sound! 👾🕹️📺

This is an EmuVR room I downloaded from Jason Steel on YouTube and its just a wonderful setup. All the consoles you can see can be played and even the VHS player, just amazing work and a great way to play retro games

I absolutely love that you can play retro flat games from several consoles and handhelds native on the Quest 3 without any type of side loading required with this new application Retro Game Dev VR. You have to source your own backups of the games but I love it. And the room looks fantastic on Quest 3 too. You can play at a desk on a small CRT monitor on your large CRT TV or on a handheld while laying in bed. Oh and spatial audio too.

I’ve been seeing a lot of comments lately saying that using RGB cables with dedicated monitors or TVs gives you much better image quality. Personally, though, I still enjoy playing my retro games through composite. Of course, having the best possible picture quality is great, but I actually prefer the slightly softer, less polished look I remember from back in the day, rather than the sharp and vibrant image you get from broadcast monitors or something like a Trinitron TV. About 15 years ago—like in this video—I used to hook up all my consoles with RGB cables as well. But these days, I mostly stick to this small LG TV for my retro gaming. If I ever want that clean, authentic RGB quality, I can always fire up my arcade cabinet. Oh, and just in case anyone’s wondering, the RGB selector you see in the video is a custom-built unit my friend made for me.

ELON: MY HOBBIES ARE FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND VIDEO GAMES "My hobbies, love sort of spending time with friends and family and video games. And then that's probably not like the sexiest thing to say, you know? In fact, I was looking at some list of things that turn women off the most, and one is if your hobby is video games." Hey! This is my new song. It features some retro hardware and here's a little 'behind the scenes' 😊✌️ If you like what you hear or see, it would be a great help if you play it or add to your library at your favourite music platform! 🤝👾

Cathay's Lettuce Leaf retro for the 80th looks stunning on B-LRJ. That green stripe ruled from 1971-1994 for a reason: simple, bold, timeless. But I keep wondering if retro liveries are actually better than modern ones, or if we're just chasing nostalgia. I'm team retro all the way.. What's your take? Rumors say a 777 and 747 freighter too. This is gonna be a spotting goldmine in 2026.
