I'm 25, turning 26 this month. I switched from physics to tech just a few months ago. I started learning programming with no connections in tech - and yes, of course, I often feel lost, alone, and behind. But as ThePrimeagen said, for people like us, there’s more reason and more pressure to learn. I still don’t know if this was the right move, but in the past 7–8 months, I’ve learned a lot - and more importantly, I’ve enjoyed it, something I rarely felt while doing anything else. All of it happened because I stayed consistent, even while doing odd jobs. Now, my next goal is to land a job or a paid internship - just something that can cover my expenses so I can go full-time in tech and keep learning by working on real projects in the industry. So, if you’ve started late or felt lost, watch this... Thank you ThePrimeagen for this❤️

If you’re new here — hi, I’m Temi. Senior software engineer. Former microbiology student. Currently learning maths from scratch, building in public, and sharing everything I figure out along the way. I make content about software engineering, career growth, and the honest reality of building a life in tech. If that sounds like something you'd want to stick around for, welcome. Glad you're here.🤗

I had the opportunity to share my grace and growth story, the journey of building the Funke Akindele brand. It was a beautiful moment for me to reflect on the journey so far. It has been a progressive journey filled with learning, growth, resilience, and hard work. One thing I always remind myself and you my beautiful FANmily is, never stop believing. Keep going, keep growing, and keep working toward that goal.

I might get cancelled for this one - but it’s been on my mind. I want to meet women in tech who are building the tech - coders, engineers, developers. I am still kind of confused where we lost the plot with the term “tech” - and how it now basically means a startup, and not engineering. Tbh when i go to tech events, i want to meet people who can relate to my experiences. In the future, I’d love to see more distinction - maybe we start going as women in software instead? What do you think? Am i about to get so much hate? 😳🙈 aaaaaa

I've started sharing my projects earlier than I used to. Not because they're finished—but because the process is worth sharing too. I'm currently building with the Marlow beta, documenting each step, learning as I go, and bringing everyone along for the journey instead of waiting for a perfect launch. Paid partnership. These are my genuine impressions while exploring an early beta experience. If you're thinking about building an app, join the beta and start sharing your own build story:

“I love being in Indy. Indy has been a grey place for me and my family. My whole family lives there now. I don’t need the glitz and glamour of a large city or anything… Our home-court advantages are different because people are really passionate about our teams and their parents were passionate about our teams. I think that’s a different type of home-court advantage than a bigger city. That’s why I enjoy being a part of it and why I want to be a part of it for the rest of my career. I really enjoy being a Pacer.” Tyrese Haliburton on playing for a small market team like the Indiana Pacers. (via Tomer Azarly)

Have decided to try and land a nomination for: "Best New Old School RuneScape Artist" This past year has been incredible for my 3D journey. Feel like I have really found a style I enjoy working with, and have gotten to work on so many fun projects. And the growth ive seen in my following aswell has been unreal, I'm very glad people enjoy what I do. If you think i am deserving of a golden gnome it would mean the world if you nominated me as "Best new OSRS artist" Edited a quick recap of my recent animations and stills to showcase what I do :) #osrs

i’ve been fortunate enough to be mentored by some of the most experienced designers in tech early in my career. (thanks to the lads at LI.FI & ParagonsDAO) these learnings never made me compromise on the creative trust that i owed to every founder and team i worked with. for the last 3 years, every project came through referrals from clients and friends (ilu), so i never really felt the need to launch. but in a post ai era, i believe that peer-to-peer learning would be one of the most important aspects of growing as a designer or even as a studio. we've spent the last year experimenting obsessively with ai tools, workflows, storytelling systems, and new ways of creating. so it feels like the right time to share learnings and build in public. launching dapptales publicly - a creative studio specialising in tasteful storytelling for tech companies. and here's a little video about what we're best at :))

Using metabolic therapies, and particularly ketogenic therapy, I have been able to completely come off all of my psych meds in less than a year. I was told once that I would probably need to spend my life in a psychiatric institution, nevermind not needing to be on antipsychotics and various other psych meds for the rest of my life too. I am the healthiest I have ever been, free of symptoms of my schizoaffective disorder, and kind of blown away by how much my experience of my illness and of my life has changed over this last year. Watch the entire video sharing my deprescribing journey here: 'How I Safely Quit Psychiatric Medications in Just 10 Months'

Lady Frost explains to us why she signed with MLW. "I was only a free agent for a matter of hours, we can say, which feels pretty good. Honestly, they called right away and it was the phone call that I think I needed to hear. They have been following me for a long time. I showed up to a taping about six years ago. I wasn't even an extra, just to get my name out there. They remembered me and have been following my journey. I posted, I think, which created a good amount of interest, a promo package and vignette, and they said, ‘We love your work.’ I said, ‘That's the direction that I want to go. This is kind of where I see my career going.’ They wanted to be on board with letting me be creative and who I want to be as an artist and pro wrestler. So I loved the call and I thought it was a really great fit for right now. So that's where I landed."

I am part of the mass layoffs at the Washington Post. I am sad and angry. We all want to keep doing the work. But for now I want to document a reality of being in journalism today.

More of Harry about Aperture “The reason why it's called Aperture is like, you control how much light you let in to your life. And I think the start of this year, I kind of just decided I was going to say yes to everything. And the momentum of that has just brought, like, so many positive things in a lot of different ways into my life. And it's been a really beautiful time in my life. And I think also, just when I would play people the music, it was always the song that I played first. […] I want to say and where I'm at in my life. And I think there's nothing more fulfilling, I think, as a musician than putting out a song that you feel like represents where you're at in your life. I think sometimes, you know, you write a song and by the time it comes out, you've kind of been through a bunch of things, and you're not really kind of aligned with necessarily what is happening in the song. And I think I really felt it when we put As It Was at or I felt like, “oh, I feel like this really represents where I'm at in this moment” and that felt really fulfilling. So I think kind of I wanted to do that again this time. And just I feel great about, like, pressing play and going like, I want to play something. And that's kind of why it ended up being the first song.” - 102.7 KIIS FM

14,000 FOLLOWERS! 🎉🙏🏿 Here is me saying a very big THANK YOU to every one of my 14,000 followers. Thank you for believing in me, engaging with my stories, and finding value in the lessons I share from my journey. I don't share because I have figured everything out. I share because I have lived, failed, learned, started again, and kept moving. If one lesson from my journey encourages someone not to give up, then sharing it is worth it. From just a few people listening to 14,000 people walking this journey with me, I am deeply grateful. And this is another reminder: keep showing up. Keep sharing your gift. Keep adding value. You never know who is watching, learning, or being inspired by your consistency. We are 14K today. We keep building. We keep learning. We keep growing. Thank you, 14K! The journey continues. ❤️🙏🏿 As usual, here is my Thank You dance.☺️

dear friends, i'm looking for a new long-term role, and i'm planning to leave my current job to make that happen. a few things pushed me here: i've hit a growth ceiling in my current position, and some factors beyond the work itself. for over 10 years, i've been doing what i love professionally (aside from art): graphic design, which has been my main source of income. i love building systems and visual identity, digging into a brand's dna. i enjoy creating logos and experimenting with web design. and since around 2022, i've gone deep into ai: not only for creative projects, but also testing different workflows for design tasks. given all that, i'm especially interested in design roles in the crypto/art/ai/tech space, or a mix of all of the above. selected projects: on request, i can also share a private portfolio link and my cv. you can reach me here on x via dm, or by email: [email protected] i'd really appreciate any support for this post. thank you for reading. with love, pk

I started this project last year, even though I don’t like sharing my wins online because people sometimes interpret them wrong, instead of seeing them as motivation. However, I will share this one because it’s not an investment, and sometimes some people view building this kind of house in your village as a waste of money. I had a childhood dream of having this kind of house in my village, and I am delighted to announce that it is 98% completed.
